We collaborated with Hayden Thorpe in Winter 2019/20 to offer Attune in an art gallery in Waterloo: a series of events combining music with yoga and meditation to engage your senses and activate your parasympathetic nervous system, taking you out of the busy city-state of mind, leaving you relaxed and receptive. The last sellout event on January 22 was an electrifying combinaton of vinyasa flow yoga from Eryck Brahmania with a drone synth soundtrack created live by Joe Goddard. Shortly after, the COVID-19 crisis hit, and we all went into lockdown, so that was the last of these events.
However, with lockdown showing no signs of easing up, we feel that an evening of escapism - music and movement - is exactly what we all need, so Attune is BACK.
Join Eryck and Joe on 10th May 2020 for a Vinyasa Flow class to the backdrop of an ambient soundtrack created live. Joe and Eryck will be in their own homes using high quality live stream broadcast software to bring this in to your homes. We recommend using wireless headphones or high quality speakers over your device ambient speakers to maximise your audio experience, but apart from that, all you need is your mat and an internet connection.
We hope you can join us for what is sure to be a special evening.
Eryck teaches creative and fun Vinyasa Flow classes which focus on precision of alignment and the breath. Drawing upon yogic texts as inspiration, he also ensures students are supported by a thoughtful playlist and hands-on assists.
Joe Goddard is a British musician, songwriter, and DJ. He is best known as a member of the English synth-pop band Hot Chip, which he co-founded with Alexis Taylor. He co-founded the Greco-Roman label in 2007, is half of The Two Bears, and has produced two solo albums.
