Half Term Sri Lanka Yoga Holiday with Eryck Brahmania - Feb 2022
Sun Feb 13th - Feb 20th 2022
We'll be back for the third time for yoga in the treetops while the monkeys jump around you, for sunrise surfing, whale watching, dawn trips to see the elephants, delicious food and new friends. This is the half term retreat, so we have a few family spaces, and we can organise childcare, so please do ask. After the chaos of 2020, and the beginning of 2021, we will all be desperately in need of a getaway by this point.
As well as a daily dynamic yoga practice focused around a theme, there will be workshops going deeper on specific poses, meditation and mantra, kundalini kriyas, yin yoga, optional surfing, massage or whale watching, delicious vegetarian Sri Lankan food, connection and of course, some very deep relaxation.
Set in the luxurious paradise of Hiriketiya bay in Sri Lanka - gentle sloping golden sand and a great beach to surf from, with an onsite pool and an open-air treetop yoga shala, create some real Sri Lankan magic and give yourself the best start to 2022.
TO BOOK, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
The retreat will be led by Eryck Brahmania who will guide you through a series of thoughtfully designed yoga classes, workshops and meditation. The morning will include a dynamic class for all levels with the opportunity to develop a better understanding of the yoga practice. In the evening, rejoin to workshop specific poses, or for a restorative practice and meditation and a chance to wind down and reset our neural pathways to leave you feeling calm and clear. The open air Shala lifts you into the treetops of the surrounding jungle and accommodates twenty students so everyone will have ample guidance.
Eryck trained with the amazing Claire Missingham during his career as a professional dancer and still continues to assist her at her classes and workshops. Students can expect deep yoga assists, well thought out sequencing and traditional roots of yoga using Sanskrit, krama vinyasa, use of precise and detailed anatomical alignment and uplifting music.

Hiriketiya Bay is unique in shape and topography making surf available approximately ten months of the year. During peak holiday seasons from Dec-Feb smaller swells from the west create a perfect beginners beach break wave and the occasional ride on the left point break. During shoulder season Aug-Dec the waves are at their best after a slight drop in midyear swell size creating a clean beach and left point break. During the middle of the year (when the crowds are away) larger southerly swells create some fun yet challenging waves right across the bay.
