What should people expect from your class?

Real Pilates! I like to teach the true method of Pilates with some anatomical knowledge thrown in, to help people lengthen and strengthen and feel amazing at the end of it. I love people to be truly engaged with the class and their bodies so that they can achieve their maximum potential. 

If you weren’t a pilates teacher, what would you be?

I was an Advertising Creative for 20 years, so there is nothing that I would rather be than an Pilates instructor.

What advice would you give to your 16 year old self?

Don't be pressured to conform to what people think you should be.  Spread your wings and find out who you really are.

What’s your favourite asana/pilates exercise and why?

On a reformer, it's Short Spine.  Such a treat for your back.  On a mat it's perversely Control Balance.  So many different technical challenges with that exercise but so good for you!

What do you do in your spare time?

I rock and I cook.  And I rock cooking! I do about 30 gigs a year with a heavy leaning towards metal and rock. Coming from an international background I have been in the kitchen as long as I can remember and so can whip up a 3 course meal at 2 hours notice.  So when I cook, I rock.  Loud!  Dinner anyone?
