Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasises proper postural alignment, core strength, muscle balance and spinal strength and flexibility, and is great for recovery from injury. We offer mat based Pilates online and from March 29, we will be offering reformer Pilates using machines in an outdoor studio (the studio is open on 2 sides so counts as outdoor). If you are coming to our outdoor reformer, please arrive not more than 5 mins before as the studios are closed, so we can't offer you anywhere to wait. Please arrive ready for class as we won't have changing facilities open, though you can use the toilets. Please wear warm clothes and come to the garage gates under Studio 2 (the glass windows with the logo and Yoga/Pilates words on the windows.
Please ensure that you have read our Terms and Conditions before you come, especially the section on our COVID-19 precautions. By coming to a class at East of Eden, you are confirming that you have not had any COVID-19 symptoms, that you have not been asked to shield, or isolate by Track and Trace, and you have not been in contact with anyone who has tested positive. If you cannot confirm these 4 things, please contact us to discuss cancelling your class. Please wear a mask until you get to your bed and maintain the social distancing with staff and other practitioners. We thank you for your cooperation in helping us stay COVID safe.
The cafe will be open for takeaway after class with tables outside from April 12th.

Modified reformer pilates classes to be done without a machine at home
