Barre & Ballet Classes
Barre Fit is a 360 degree body workout with upbeat music, a strong emphasis on legs and glutes, but also core and upper body work to help craft a long, lean and strong physique. You’ll use hand and ankle weights and resistance bands to work your muscles to fatigue, and then pulse. You don’t need any ballet experience or level of fitness to attend. Just come along and rest when you need. We also offer a gentle barre class which is suitable for pregnancy.
We have 2 ballet classes per week - a beginners class on a Saturday at 11am, and an intermediate class on a Wednesday at 1020am. These class are suitable for anyone who love Ballet and include Ballet Barre exercises, choreography on music from different famous ballets, pirouettes and jumps. Beginners Ballet is the perfect place to start then you can progress to the open/intermediate ballet class. If you have done some ballet in the past you might start with the open class. You will learn more complex ballet routines that focus on the correct technique and posture while strengthening and lengthening all the muscles that ballerinas use. Eliska will guide you through everything step by step, so you will have a chance to build on what you have learnt over time with patience and grace.
