East of eden x paragraph book club

If like, you me love reading and are sometimes stuck for what to read next, come and join East of Eden’s new Book Club for a fun, friendly chat about a great new book every month.

Paragraph Book Club meetups are informal and non-judgemental, everyone is free to take part, read a passage, contribute or just listen. We meet once a month at 7pm in the cafe which will stay open so you can grab a drink, or BYOB.

Our first meeting is on Weds 26th February when we’ll be discussing debut novel The Safekeep by Yael Van Der Wouden, a tense and emotional story of desire, legacy and ownership which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. We will mainly aim to choose paperbacks, but this one was so good we couldn’t wait.
